The pair who met in the 1980s married in a small service in Copenhagen earlier this week.
“I was awe-struck by him. I became consumed by the thought of him. He says that he felt the same way, that we were destined to be together. But ours were not to be easy, uncomplicated lives and ours was not to be an uncomplicated love affair.” the bride told The Irish Mirror in an interview before their wedding.
Longtime friend of MacGowan Johnny Depp was among the guests at the ceremony.
